Principal Projects:

1.- 1989-1992: Tectonic evolution, stratigraphy and hydrocarbon potential of the Central American forearc basin between Nicaragua to Columbia (regional integrated G&G study); University of Texas dissertation project published in GSA Special Publication 295 "Geology and Tectonic Development of the Caribbean Plate Boundary in Southern Central America". 2.- 1991: Open acreage evaluation in the Vienna Basin and Carpathian Foredeep, play analysis for a licensing round, internship project at Exxon Company International Houston. Click here for further details.

3.- 1992-1997: Field development and exploitation work at Texaco E&P in New Orleans. Field re-development projects at Cote Blanche Island, West Cote Blanche Bay, Vermillion Bay, Lake Pelto. Highly successful re-development program at Cote Blanche Island increased production from 300 bopd to 7000+ bopd. Several wells are still producting. Click here for further details.

4.- 1997-1999: New ventures frontier exploration at Shell Deepwater Development in New Orleans. Generated Shell's first abyssal plain prospect (Excalibur/Outpost); developed a 2-well ultra-deepwater drilling program with Vastar. Cayenne became a discovery. Click here for further details.

5.- 1991-2002: Exploitation and exploration consulting projects on Pecan Island field, Paradis field, Bay Marchand, East Cameron 9, Matagorda Island for a number of small independent upstart companies in Louisiana and Texas. Succesful development drilling campaign at Paradis Field; East Cameron 9 became a 2002 gas discovery. Click here for further details.

6.- 2002-2004: Consulting work for Shell Nigeria on Train 4/Train 5 gas development projects onshore Niger Delta (17 TCF reserves in the Utapate, Kolo Creek and Gbaran Fields). Leading integrated field studies, hands-on QI and reservoir modeling work. Reservoir and fluid prediction for offshore exploration prospects.

7.- 2004: Consulting work for Petrokazakhstan on appraisal and exploitation of Akshabulak, Nuraly, Aksai fields. Leading several large integrated field studies. Highly successful and profitable drilling campaign at Akshabulak field.

8.- 2006-2007: Consulting work for Devon Energy on a ultra-deepwater exploration project. Leading and training a mised Nigerian/expat team, developing prospects for a 2-well drilling program in OPL256 and OPL242. OPL242 was the deepest spudded well in West Africa, and became an oil discovery. Devon's exit from West Africa put further appraisal on hold.

9.-10. 2007: Consulting work for MND E&P London on a prospect development project in the Alpine Foredeep in Germany and in the Carpathian Fold and Thrust Belt in Romania.

11.- 2007: Consulting work for MND E&P London on open acreage evaluation offshore Tunisia.

12.- 2007: Consulting work for MND E&P London, G&G due dilligence on a farm-in in the Black Sea.

13.- 2007: Consulting work for MND E&P London, leading G&G due dilligence for the acquisition of Regal Petroleum Ukraine.

14.- 2007-2009: Consulting work for Murphy/Mitsubishi/PTTEP consortium. New ventures work, farm-out screening, open acreage evaluation/prospect generation. Mapped a new play on block WA423 in the Browse Basin, generated several prospects and captured the block. First exploration well due to spud in 2010.

15.- 2008: Licensing round work in North Sumatra for Murphy Oil.

16.- 2008: Prospect generation in the Andaman Sea for Murphy Oil as part of a large farm-out evaluation.

17.- 2009: Farm-out screening onshore and offshore Papua New Guinea.
